Howdie! I'm Alan, an online personal trainer in Dublin who takes a psychological approach to personal training. I'm a Qualified Personal Trainer that is also in training to become a licensed Psychotherapist.
I created Mind-Body Training in 2017 with a simple yet transformative aim: to help busy professionals not only improve their bodies, but just as importantly, their minds, through online personal training, mindset and nutrition coaching.

Do I have to pay right away?
No. You don't have to pay during the application process. Simply apply and we will schedule a call. By the end of the call, if you feel the programme is a fit, you can pay then.
Do I need to be fit to join?
No. The programme is designed for all fitness levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break, we meet you where you're at and build up gradually.
How does the personal training work online?
You get access to 48+ semi-private personal training sessions delivered via Zoom. Sessions are 20–30 minutes long and guided in real-time by Coach Alan, your Dublin-based online personal trainer.
What if I can’t attend a live session?
You'll receive a personalised workout plan through the app so you can train anytime. You’re never left behind if life gets busy.
How long are the sessions?
Each session runs for 20–30 minutes, with an optional 10-minute guided meditation after. It’s fast, flexible, and fits your day.
Can I do the sessions from my home, office, or gym?
Yes. As long as you have space to move, a screen, and can be seen on video, you can train from anywhere.
Can you adapt the programme for injuries or limitations?
Absolutely. We work around issues like lower back pain, knee injuries, or shoulder restrictions. Just let us know in your onboarding call and we’ll personalise everything.
How is mindset part of the programme?
Mind-Body Training blends physical training with mindset coaching. Coach Alan, a trainee psychotherapist, uses proven tools to help with stress, emotional eating, and motivation—during sessions and through app-based support.
Will I have to give up my favourite foods?
No. You'll learn how to include your favourite foods without guilt or restriction, while still losing fat and building strength.
Do I have to eat specific foods or follow a strict meal plan?
Nope. You’ll be guided to build a flexible plan using foods you actually enjoy—plus support with recipes, shopping lists, and restaurant guides.
How do I track my progress?
You’ll use an easy in-app food diary and progress tracker. This lets you stay on track, monitor results, and adjust based on real data.
What support will I get from my coach?
You’ll have access to Coach Alan Monday to Friday, up to 18 hours a day, plus weekly check-ins and app messaging support for accountability and encouragement.
What happens after the 12-week programme?
You can continue on a flexible follow-up coaching plan or finish up feeling confident and in control. There’s no pressure either way.
Is there a mondey-back guarantee?
Yes. If you stay consistent with and complete the full 12 weeks yet aren't happy with your progress, we’ll give you your money back. Results are guaranteed if you do the work and show up consistently.
