ONLINE FITNESS COACH

Alan here, the 'Coach who Takes a Mental Approach.' As a Qualified Personal Trainer on the path to becoming a licensed Psychotherapist, I founded Mind-Body Training in 2017 with a simple yet powerful goal: to guide busy women in not just transforming their bodies, but more importantly, their minds. At Mind-Body Training, we are dedicated to empowering busy women to embrace a holistic approach to health and well-being. Our mission is to transform lives by nurturing the essential connection between mind and body, leading to profound positive changes in both.​​ What is Mind-Body Training? ​ Mind-Body Training is the practice of seamlessly integrating mental and physical training to enhance overall physical and mental well-being. We offer a unique blend of cognitive exercises, mindset coaching, physical workouts, and nutritional guidance, all carefully designed to create a synergistic impact. ​ The 'Mind' Side of Things: We help our clients train their minds through cognitive exercises and coaching rooted in evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These practices may reduce anxiety and stress, while also enhancing mental well-being and fostering better choices in nutrition and exercise. ​ The 'Body' Side of Things: Our approach to the body is upheld by physical exercise and nutrition. Scientific studies confirm that improving physical health may positively influence the mind, and vice versa. We leverage this interconnectedness to support our clients in achieving their health and fitness goals. ​ ​ Are The Mind And Body One? ​ The mind and body are not separate entities; they are interconnected and capable of influencing each other. We use the mind to help change the body through practices like mindfulness meditation and cognitive reframing. Conversely, we employ actions of the body, such as exercise, to improve mood and the mind. Disclaimer: Although Alan is a psychotherapist-in-training, his therapy and personal training roles are separate, and he does not offer psychotherapy to personal training clients. The only mindset work Alan does with personal training clients is mindset work related to their health and fitness goals.

HOW OUR ONLINE FITNESS CLASSES WORK

TIME TABLE

Our online workout classes take place everyday, Monday- Friday, with 6.30 am, 10.00am and 5.15pm slots to pick and choose from. Each session lasts for 30 minutes, with Coach Alan guiding you through each one.

CLASS STRUCTURE

Our online fitness classes are strength-training focused. During the first month, we will prioritise technique development. Once you have nailed down the technique, we will then gradually increase the intensity of your online fitness sessions

BOOKING CLASSES

Once you have purchased a membership, you will gain access to our app, through which you can book your sessions. Simply book a class, and 15 minutes before it starts you will be sent a zoom link.

WHY THIS ISN'T JUST ANOTHER ONLINE WORKOUT CLASS

Most online classes are one-size-fits-all. You get a Zoom link, a sweaty session, and then you’re left to figure the rest out.

Yes, all classes and programs are tailored to your fitness level, even if you're starting from scratch.​

How do I join the program?

Do I need equipment for the online classes?

We’ll work with whatever you have. Many workouts are bodyweight-based, with optional equipment progressions.

Can I train from anywhere in Ireland?

All of our online fitness classes are fully remote and designed to fit into your schedule.

What kind of results can I expect?

Most clients lose 10-28/1-2 clothing sizes in their first 12 weeks, gain strength, and feel more in control. With consistency, the physical and mental changes follow.
